Between 1985 and 1992, I studied at Eskişehir Anadolu High School. In 1992, I began my undergraduate education at Ankara University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Physics Engineering, and from 1993 onward, I continued at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Physics, from which I graduated in 1997. Between 1997 and 2000, I carried out my master’s studies at the Institute of Science, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Department of General Physics, completing my thesis entitled “Light filters and the properties of light transmitted through filters.” From 2000 to 2006, I pursued my doctoral studies at the same institute and obtained my Ph.D. degree with the dissertation titled “Preparation of glasses having different constituents and investigation of their physical and optical properties.” In January 2021, I was awarded the title of Associate Professor. I am currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of General Physics, Faculty of Science, Eskişehir Osmangazi University. My research mainly focuses on the physical, optical, and radiation interaction properties of glass materials. In addition, I serve as an associate editor for the journals Frontiers in Materials and Frontiers in Nuclear Engineering.
